Dove Decoys…Quackery or The Business?

For the past couple years I refused to admit that dove decoys really did exist, and that anyone was dumb enough to actually buy them.  But it appears I was wrong, I hear story after story about their effectiveness and for $50 you can’t go too far wrong.  Odds are you spent more money on gas and beer for the trip than the decoys will cost you anyways.  As soon as I get done making fun of myself for hunting next to a plastic tree I just staked in the ground, maybe I’ll actually shoot my limit…who am I kidding…I’ll make it interesting and try to butterfly net them as they land on my fake tree!
